THEÂ COMPASS PROGRAM
The “Compass” program is an action-based learning experience designed to help students build key values for successful social interactions while focusing on healthy character development, self-image, and positive mental health. Over the course of the program, students will progress through five stages of group formation, gaining real-world experiences in a controlled, supportive environment. Participants will develop self-esteem, improve communication skills, and enhance self-awareness, teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. The program also promotes trust-building, self-control, acceptance of self and others, empathy, and forgiveness. The Compass program is engaging and challenging, designed for students who may struggle in traditional classrooms. Each session includes a journal reflection to encourage continued learning at home. What sets the Compass program apart is its support for parents. Weekly session outlines with strategies help reinforce learning at home, fostering positive habits and greater independence in students. Parents also receive access to “Raising Teens” resources—over two hours of recorded material—helping them support their child’s development. Additional parenting support is available upon request.
